Change in Prosthodontic Case Requirement

Latest news in from Dr. Hana:

We are now required to take 5 impressions for each prosthodontic case we handle. If you have a patient needing dentures for both upper and lower teeth, this means you will have to take a total of 10 impressions. This comes from the upper board I guess.

So how will our patients take it in? We have no idea. Why the need for so many impressions? Not sure, but it seems that some of the impressions will be used for the DSA's. Hopefully, this ridiculous proposal will be canceled out for the benefit of both the patient and ours.

Thanks.
